Caradoc Medical Services, based in Shrewsbury, is supporting SSBB this year.
Peter Masters, business manager at Caradoc, said they look to support charities that take the pressure off the NHS – an aim of the consortium itself. “SSBB is a charity which not only supports the NHS but saves the service money – something our consortium also aims to do”.
The relationship was launched at their premises in Shrewsbury when Gordon H, Sandy H and Lynne S met with Peter. Lynne says “We are delighted to be working with Caradoc, a company with a very similar philosophy to us”.
A national buying group, launched in 2009, Caradoc uses collective buying power to help bring down costs for members on a range of products and services from suppliers. The not-for-profit organisation represents 2,500 GP practices, more than 50 per cent of out-of-hours GP organisations and over 15,000 osteopaths and massage therapists across the country.
