This is a possible choice from an extensive menu for your evening meal at The Bell Inn, Haughton, near Stafford. Landlord and landlady Richard and Ally Heath, who took over the pub in 2008 recently introduced a new menu to complement the refurbished restaurant and bar. Richard and Ally are well known in Haughton and it was no surprise to the regulars that they were named as Regional Winners in 2014 for ‘Outstanding Contributions to the Local Community’ for Enterprise Community Heroes.
The nomination and subsequent win meant that, with their cash prize, they were able to donate money to charities of their choice within the community. SSBB were absolutely delighted that Richard and Ally chose them as one of their charities and riders Nigel B. and Arthur B. recently visited the pub to collect a £500.00 donation. The donation was boosted even further when a member of the public, on seeing the photo session, contributed another £10.00.
Lovely people, friendly regulars, wonderful food. What more can we say? Well, if you should ask, the baked Camembert is divine!!!
