Anvil Hire Tag Racing

We are very pleased and proud to announce, the amazing news that Anvil Hire Tag Racing – British Superbike team, have chosen Shropshire and Staffordshire Blood bikes as their nominated charity for the season.Anvil Tag Racing

Riders; Richard Cooper, Filip Backlund and Shaun Winfield, will all carry the SSBB logo on the nose of their bikes throughout the championship season.

The team, based near Burton Upon Trent, in close proximity to Queens Hospital, chose to support us in recognition of the work we do supporting the local community where they are based.

This is fantastic news for our charity, and will raise awareness of blood bikes on a national and international scale, as the championship moves around the country, and later in the season to Europe at Assen, not to mention massive amount TV and social media coverage of the championship.

The logo has already featured on the bike at Brands Hatch and Oulton Park and can been seen in this picture.Anvil Tag Racing(3)

Following the Brands Hatch round, Phil S, and Steve H were invited to visit the team HQ for a PR / photo shoot. They both  jumped at the chance and had a fantastic hour being shown around the 3 £60k ZX10R Kawasaki superbikes and meeting the team. The Burton Mail was on hand to take photos and Phil S and Steve H even got to watch the riders having some fun on their dirt bikes following the meeting.

Anvil Hire Tag Racing are in there second full season in BSB after making their debut in 2014. A successful first season saw them gain a podium place and several other high finishes, I’m sure this year with all of our support behind them we can spur them on to do even better.

A big thank you to owner Rob Winfield, and team Manager Steve Randle for arranging this for us.

And on behalf of everyone associated with the charity, the very best of luck for the season.
