Here is the final report from Helen B’s Trilogy this week. Tonight’s offering concerns Stafford and more specifically, our visit to the Market Square last weekend which was nothing short of an absolute success!
SSBB were given a tremendously warm welcome by the people of Stafford at their display in the town’s Market Square on Saturday. Situated in front of the town’s Christmas tree and serenaded by the band and a wonderful musical elf, the gazebos and SSBB display of eight liveried blood bikes and two mini motos adorned with santa hats and lights created a wonderful festive display.
An abundance of SSBB volunteers from all over our region braved a cold but sunny day and were overwhelmed by the interest from and the generosity of the visitors to the stand. Hot coffee and mince pies sustained them through a very successful day for SSBB.
Awareness raised, funds boosted by an amazing £758.00 and potential volunteers encouraged. All in all a very good day.
We hope Stafford enjoyed meeting us, we certainly enjoyed meeting them. See you again soon and Merry Christmas!
