SSBB Social Night (Get Together) – 4th April

Posted on Updated on

Good Evening All,

We have been listening to our members (As we always do!) and a good number of you have asked if we can run some “Social Events” throughout the year to help those who want to meeting and engage with other SSBB members.  As a result of this, we have now appointed a “Social Events Organiser” – Sandy, who is now charged with bringing our members together by putting on a variety of events for you all! Sandy’s first planned event is a simple Get Together, which he outlines below. A trip to Cadbury’s World has also been mentioned and is currently being explored! Do you have any ideas for a good social event? If so, please get in touch with us!

The SSBB Social Get Together is taking place on Friday 4th April at the Royal Oak, Eccleshall. 7.30pm is your opportunity to came and meet the rest of the SSBB team, put faces to the names you have seen appear on the rotas and generally say hello!

Our Chairman, Chris Powdrill,  will give a short talk on where we are now at (After a very successful 9 months or so), and explain what is planned for the future. Other members of the committee will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have. The usual bar facilities are available as well as soft drinks and tea and coffee.

We look forward to meeting you all there.

Sandy Harper
Committee member and Social Disorganiser!
