Snowdon Challenge – Update

Posted on Updated on

Good Morning All

Further to my post recently about SSBB conquering Snowdon, I can now announce the route used, time taken and how much money was raised!

The track of choice for this particular assault on the summit was the “Pyg” trail. It took the team two hours and fifty minutes to reach the summit which is an excellent effort, especially when you consider that close to the top, they experienced very high wind speeds and freezing fog!

After having a bite to eat in the Snowdon Cafe and a promotional picture or two taken, they headed back to the Pen Y Pass car park along the Miners track. The descent took a mere two hours!

Once again, from everyone at SSBB, I would like to thank Steve, Paul, Keith, Les, Ian and Chris! Your efforts that day have helped raise in excess of £550 to date, with the possibility this figure could exceed £1000 once the all of the remaining sponsorship money has been received!
